forexgen gives you the chance to lear forex trading

There are a great number of people in America that are interested in investing in order to make a tidy profit.

There are many ways to invest and many ways to make profits by investing. One method that has been gaining in popularity is that of the Forex trading system. If you are unsure of what this is, let me explain. Forex stands for foreign exchange.

A Forex trading system is defined as the simultaneous exchange of one countries currency for another countries currency. If you would like more information, please let this be your guide to learning a Forex trading system.

The Forex trading system involves trading some of the world's most major currencies. These are: the dollar, yen, British pound, Swiss franc, and the Euro. The way the exchange rates of these types of currencies change is based on economic growth. An example: Sometimes the Dollar is worth more than the British pound because the United States was in a period of economic growth while Britain was on the decline.

Trading Profit/Loss with forexgen

Trading Profit/Loss

The differential indicator is an indicator used to identify the profit/loss that would have been realized if any trader submitted multiple positions at the same time.
The indicator shows the rise and fall of the profit of positions opened at the red vertical line through a red graph line in a certain interval of time starting from the time of opening the positions and reaching to the current time, where each point is the total profit of opened positions at this time.

Demo Trading

Demo trading is a great way to get started in foreign exchange trading. It is identical to real trading, except that you're using "pretend" money. Demo trading allows you to get a taste for what type of events move markets and how they move.

It encourages you to learn more about geopolitics, macroeconomics and global finance and these are all incredibly positive things.

Demo trading also introduces you to the rapture of greed. Trading is a means to one of the purest, most raw and potent forms of greed. The whole point of trading is to make money and the more money you make - the stronger the pull of your greed becomes. It is intoxicating and can take complete control of you.

But demo trading does not introduce you to fear. There is no fear when you are demo trading. It is like you have a perpetual get out of jail free card. If you start losing badly on a demo account - simply start a new one. There is no accountability for your trading failures and only recognition of your trading success.

So your demo account does not teach you how to handle the emotion of fear. This emotion is most likely going to lead to your downfall. Greed may get you overextended, but fear will stop you from cutting your losses. You may think that fear of losing money would cause you to cut your losses, but the stronger emotion is fear of being wrong and that causes you to hold on to your losing position - until it's all gone.

What is the key factor to trading success?

The search for the "Holy Grail" of trading has been a common theme throughout the history of markets. There are a variety of different techniques. Those whom are inclined towards number crunching and pattern recognition may prefer technical analysis, whereas those more focused on the big picture, logical macro perspective prefer fundamental analysis.

Then there are specific methodologies like swing trading, trend following or even more esoteric ideas like the Elliot Wave theory. Which one is best? There are examples of very successful traders using each methodology.

Since most new traders lose money - perhaps the more appropriate question to ask is, "What is the key factor to trading failure?"

What is an Expert Advisor?

It is a mechanical trading system (MTS) written in specialized language which is MetaQuotes Language 4 (MQL 4) and linked to a trading chart. An Expert Advisor has the capability to notify traders of the trading, chances and also to automatically execute positions in their trading account, sending them directly to the trading server. Like all experts systems, Expert Advisors supports the testing of strategies with historical data, with the trade entry/exit points being represented on the charts. Furthermore, the executable code of the Expert Advisor is stored separately from its source text.

Starring in writing your custom Expert Advisor has never been easier. To be able do so, traders only need to learn how to use a very simple language - the MQL 4.
There is a great variety of trading strategies developed by a lot of traders using MQL4 language and ForexGen traders can depend on it as a good start to get familiar with MQL4 language and allow traders to incorporate the previously accumulated experience.

Double Bottom

A charting pattern used in technical analysis. It describes the drop of a stock (or currency), a rebound, another drop to the same (or similar) level as the original drop, and finally another rebound.

The double bottom looks like the letter "W". The twice touched low is considered a support level.
Most technical analysts believe that the advance off of the first bottom should be 10-20%. The second bottom should form within 3-4% of the previous low, and volume on the ensuring advance should increase.

Descending Triangles

A bearish chart pattern used in technical analysis that is created by drawing one trend line that connects a series of lower highs and a second trend line that has historically proven to be a strong level of support. Traders watch for a move below support, as it suggests that downward momentum is building. Once the breakdown occurs, traders enter into short positions and aggressively push the price of the asset lower.

This is a very popular tool among traders because it clearly shows that the demand for an asset is weakening, and when the price breaks below the lower support, it is a clear indication that downside momentum is likely to continue or become stronger. Descending triangles give technical traders the opportunity to make substantial profits over a brief period of time. The most common price targets are generally set to equal the entry price minus the vertical height between the two trend lines.
A descending triangle is the bearish counterpart of an ascending triangle.

Oscillators

The Stochastic Oscillator comes in 3 flavors: Fast, Slow, and Full. The Stochastic Oscillator is a momentum indicator designed to show the relation of the current close price relative to the high/low range over a given number of periods using a scale of 0-100. It is based on the assumption that in a rising market the price(s) will close near the high of the range and in a declining market the price(s) will close near the low of the range.
The Stochastic Oscillators are typically plotted as 2 lines: %K and %D. %K is the main (fast) line and %D is the signal (slow) line.
The Full Stochastic Oscillator is calculated by the formula:
Fast %K = ((Today's Close - Lowest Low in %K Periods) / (Highest High in %K Periods - Lowest Low in %K Periods)) * 100
Slowing %K = N-period moving average of Fast %K
%D = N-period simple moving average of Slowing %K

Pattern Schmatterns

By now you have an arsenal of weapons to use when you battle the market. In this lesson you will add yet another weapon: CHART PATTERNS!
Think of chart patterns as a land mine detector, because once you learn this, you will be able to spot “explosions” on the charts before they even happen, making you a lot of money in the process.
In this lesson, we will teach you basic chart patterns and formations. When correctly identified, it usually leads to a huge breakout or “explosion” in this case.
Remember, our whole goal is to spot big movements before they happen so that we can ride them out and rake in the cash! Chart formations will greatly help us spot conditions where the market is ready to break out.
Here's the list of patterns that we're going to cover:
Symmetrical Triangles
Ascending Triangles
Descending Triangles
